Dear colleagues,
BCcampus is offering sponsorship money to those wishing to host events at B.C. and Yukon
post-secondary institutions for Open Education Week 2024.
Open Education
Week<https://oeweek.oeglobal.org/> is an internationally recognized
week for raising awareness of and celebrating achievements in open education. In honour of
this, BCcampus has released a call for proposals for open education events hosted at
post-secondary institutions in B.C. or the Yukon during the week of March 4 to 8, 2024.
Examples of events that could qualify for a sponsorship include a workshop on open
licences, an award ceremony for local open champions, and an awareness campaign event by a
student union about high textbook costs.
Read the call for
proposals<https://bccampus.ca/grants-calls-for-proposals/call-for-proposals-open-education-week-funding/>
for more details on how to apply for up to $1000 in sponsorship funding. Ten sponsorships
are available, and the call closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on January 26.
