Here is some further info on open textbooks and math.... At UBC the graduate students in mathematics, several years ago, put together an open database of problem sets and answers in the UBC Wiki: http://wiki.ubc.ca/Science:Math_Exam_Resources It's an amazing resource that has replaced most text content in courses. There is a full list of all the courses that currently are using this tool. Additionally, there has been a lot of development in our Math department on developing open texts .
