Open Education Week is an annual celebration that aims to raise awareness and showcase the
impact of open education on teaching and learning worldwide. This year, Open Education
will take place from March 2-6, 2020.
On Wednesday, March 4, 2020, we welcome members of the KPU community and guests from other
post-secondary institutions and system partners to join us at the KPU Richmond campus for
a special event. The event will include a keynote presentation by Dr. Karen
Cangialosi<https://karencang.net/> (Keene State College, New Hampshire, USA),
lightning talks by open education champions at KPU, workshops on topics ranging from
Creative Commons
licensing<https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/licensing-examples… to Open
Pedagogy<http://openpedagogy.org/>g/>, and hands-on training for a range of open
educational technology tools such as Pressbooks<https://kpu.pressbooks.pub/> and
