She really just wanted a place to store her OER textbook that did not require students to log in, and I offered her a libguides page<http://libguides.stcc.edu/c.php?g=555211>11>. It does not contain any other content, as you can see via the link. She wanted more content, but did not give me enough notice to build something in time. I am totally open to the idea and hope to work with her over the winter break to make a more interesting page. I should note, however, that many of my colleagues did not like the idea of faculty having a libguide. They were concerned that the idea would catch on and would be too much work for the library. I highly doubt this will be an issue. There were also concerns that if we gave faculty an admin account that they could potentially do some damage to our other pages.
