I like Caroline's two suggestions but hadn't thought of two submissions (increasing the chances of acceptance?). It would be nice to have a consensus on the general focus of the proposal(s) and then input some specifics before attempting a draft. That can take the form of emails or Skype/etc.; Probably easier to toss out ideas with the latter if about three of us can line up our schedules with a Doodle.
