Hi all, Please join Dr. Rajiv Jhangiani, Oya Pakkal, Josie Gray and myself for a free webinar on Monday November 24th at 1pm (Pacific) where we will present the results of research conducted by BCcampus and the Inclusive Education Research Lab on institutional capacity to support Open Educational Practices at BC post-secondary institutions. This research used the ISAT2 (Institutional Self-Assessment Tool) to evaluate institutional supports for open educational practices in six categories: * vision and implementation; * Partnerships; * Policies, incentives, and professional development; * institutional supports; * leadership and advocacy; * culture change. We will explore similarities and differences across institution type and region and look at how B.C. compares to Ontario. We will also explore strategies to ensure open education is sustainable and continues to have long–term benefits for students and instructors in B.C.
