As a Pressbooks account holder in pressbooks.bccampus.ca, you have been placed on a mailing list to receive notifications about upgrades, service outages, and other events that affect your Pressbooks account. These outages will also affect open textbooks that are hosted in BCcampus' internal instance of Pressbooks (opentextbc.ca).

UPGRADE NOTICE

From Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time to Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. PT, Pressbooks (pressbooks.bccampus.ca) will be upgraded to version 6.20.2. You will be unable to login to your Pressbooks account during this time.

Changes:

• Improved accessibility of Dashboard links and menus.
• Fixed translations for Contributor types.
• Added new institutions to list of Institutions in Book Info page.
• Updated “Yukon University” name in list of Institutions in Book Info page.

We are thoroughly testing the updated Pressbooks prior to the release and these improvements should not cause any issues with your existing books.
