Dear colleagues,
This year we will celebrate international open education week at KPU with the launch of
OPUS, our Library’s new open publishing suite that enables faculty to create and adapt open educational resources, publish open access journals or monographs, and more! Come hear from KPU faculty and staff who have
used the services and tools in OPUS to develop open textbooks and practice open pedagogy with their students.
The morning will also feature an update on open education at KPU, a presentation on OPUS from the Library, and a
very special announcement by our Dean of Arts.
Optional workshops will be offered through the afternoon on Getting Started with Pressbooks and Launching an Open Access or Course Journal.
