Through foundational concepts and frameworks, this course examines entrepreneurship as a process including: entrepreneurial identity, opportunity creation and evaluation, mobilizing resources, and growth. The course is designed around the major stages in this process, and an overview of factors that are key to entrepreneurial success is provided. Dear colleagues,
BCcampus would like to invite you to attend the Trades Summit Series 2021<https://can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbccampus.…>.
Every Monday in November, join Tim Carson, provincial representative for open education in the trades, for opportunities for trades educators to explore different avenues for their course design and delivery.
Dates are Nov. 1, Nov. 8, Nov. 15, Nov. 22, and Nov. 29, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Pacific time.
This five-week summit series will cover the following topics:
* Pathways. Journey from Face 2 Face to Hybrid — with Lucy Griffiths (yesterday, Nov. 1)
* Leveraging Technology for Team-Based Learning — with Chad Flinn
* Humanizing Assessments — with Nicki Rehn
* Building Communities of Practice: From the Micro to the Macro — with Sally Vinden
* Podcasts for Learning Trades? — with Tim Carson
Participants are encouraged to attend each session, as each week builds on the last in hopes of creating a community of practice among trades faculty and staff. The last session with Tim Carson will be a live podcast recording.
This event is free. To ensure we have an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, we’ve added registration to all our sessions.
Register for the Trade Summit Series<https://can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fevents.ep…> (there is one registration form to gain access to all five events).
Cheers,
Rosario
