Dear colleagues,
For several years, faculty and staff have asked for a mailing list devoted to the
post-secondary open education community in British Columbia.
Today, BCcampus is pleased to introduce the BCOpen listserv, a community of practice email
group for open education in British Columbia.
Anyone in the British Columbia post-secondary sector whose interest or work involves open
educational resources, open pedagogy, or open education in general is invited to join.
Members can ask questions about open education, promote OER projects, post opportunities
and events, and ask for ideas about resources and pedagogy.
If you are a member of either the BCcampus Key Contacts or BCOEWG listservs, you will be
added to the BCOpen listserv unless you opt out. If you are not interested in joining the
listserv at this time, please reply to this email letting me know by Monday, March 7, and
you will not be added. After this date, we will begin to add members to the BCOpen
listserv. Of course, you may join or leave the listserv at any time after this date.
After March 7, you can contact this listserv by emailing bcopen(a)lists.bccampus.ca.
Thank you for being part of the open education community in British Columbia.
Best,
