We invite you to submit your talk or poster proposal for the fourth annual Open Education Talks, a series of 15-minute lightning talks about open education, open pedagogy, and integrating open resources and technologies in higher education. This virtual event aims to foster conversations and share best practices in open education.

 

Talks & Poster Opportunities:

ˇ        Talks: Share your experiences in open education, focusing on open pedagogy, OER, student partnerships, AI in education, and more. Sessions will occur every Wednesday in March 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM MT, and will be hosted on Zoom.

ˇ        Posters: New this year! Submit your infographic or poster to the Digital Poster Wall to visually showcase your open education work. Accepted creators will receive guidelines and licensing information.

 

Proposal Deadline: December 15, 2024
Speakers Notified: January 10, 2025
Registration Opens: February 3, 2025

 

This Year’s Streams:

  1. Building Blocks of OE: Basics of open education and OER adoption
  2. AI, Technology, and OE: AI's role in open education and its ethical implications
  3. Student Leadership and Partnership: Student-led projects and collaboration in OE
  4. Tensions and Possibilities: Integrating open research and addressing challenges

 

We invite you to submit your proposal to this form no later than December 15, 2024.
