Dear colleagues,
This is a reminder that BCcampus is offering sponsorship money to those wishing to host events at B.C. and Yukon post-secondary institutions for Open Education Week 2024.
Open Education Week is an internationally recognized week for raising awareness of and celebrating achievements in open education. In honour of this, BCcampus has released a call for proposals for open education events hosted at post-secondary institutions in B.C. or the Yukon during the week of March 4 to 8, 2024.
Examples of events that could qualify for a sponsorship include a workshop on open licences, an award ceremony for local open champions, and an awareness campaign event by a student union about high textbook costs.
Read the call for proposals for more details on how to apply for up to $1000 in sponsorship funding. Ten sponsorships are available, and the call closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on January 26.
