The Advisor, Learning & Teaching is responsible for leading the development and implementation of BCcampus projects, learning events, and initiatives related to Learning & Teaching, Educational Technology, Digital and Online Learning,
and Open Educational Practices. The Advisor, Learning & Teaching works with educators, learners, leaders, and staff to support and advocate for effective and innovative teaching and learning practices in B.C. higher ed, leading ultimately to improved student
learning and experiences.
This position reports to the Director, Learning & Teaching and works with other BCcampus staff, faculty and staff in B.C. post-secondary institutions, and other organizations as required.
This is a full-time position until March 31, 2023 with the possibility of renewal based on funding and a salary range of $81,153 – $89,533 annually. In addition, BCcampus employees receive 5% of their salary in lieu of pension contribution
and are provided extended health and dental benefits.
A secondment from a B.C. post-secondary institution is also a possibility for this role.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and possess a valid work permit, if applicable.
