Could it be a revised edition rather than a new edition?

Subject: [BULK] [Bcoelsteering] How to Deal with Author, Adapter, Contributor in Open
Texts
Hello All,
So, I'm running into an issue when developing open textbook adaption projects with
faculty. Is there any standard for how to attribute author vs. adapter when creating an
open textbook cover. For example, a faculty member has a adapted an open text but
hasn't written and\y significant changes, etc. to warrant the text being a full new
edition. His work however needs to be recognized. How do you do this on the front cover
of a text?
Here is the example for context:

Any ideas are welcome.
