I often slink away and hide after rejection, but I am willing to ask for a few comments from BCLA if my librarian colleagues here
feel that is appropriate. Something like:
“Our group would like some feedback on why our proposal was not accepted. For instance, did the selection committee feel it was too
similar to one of our past BCLA sessions?
In order to advance awareness of and action on the important issues related to education information resources, the BCOEL is committed
to an ongoing effort to communicate with more people working in BC libraries and education institutions. Your response will help us plan a proposal for 2018 that may better further this endeavor.”
Let me know what you think.

Totally surprised as well... but Amanda has some great suggestions. I think it would be great if the group would think about working on something for the OT Summit. Maybe this is
something we can add to the agenda of our next meeting?

Hi All
I am very surprised to hear this... I wonder if you might request some feedback from the committee. Do they feel like this is a "been there done that" presentation? Is there a national
conference you would consider submitting a proposal at?
Also thinking ahead to the Open Textbook Summit in May- wondering if perhaps you might consider a workshop of some sort that would benefit the OT community?
Thanks!
Amanda
