Josie's reply:Hello - I was wondering if there could be a Q&A session or discussion about the processes and workflows for loading content in the collection.I'm a bit confused on this and perhaps there can be support from the librarian community to make this clearer and to streamline this work(i.e. selection and review of content, training on using the system, etc.). Perhaps we can work with BCOEL on this? Thanks for considering!Erin
Cheers,Hi Erin,
Yes, absolutely! I would very much appreciate being a part of a conversation about this and how the BC OE librarian community could get involved.
I’d be happy to meet with you and anyone else is who is interested. I can talk more about the processes and standards related to adding new OER to the collection as well as some of the challenges we are experiencing.
Let me know how you’d like to proceed.
Josie

I would also be interest in this conversation. Recently our librarians were discussing a desire to include teaching materials in the collection, APA presentations, etc. I would be interested in whether this could be an option and what the process might look like.

Oh I was just trying to figure this out earlier this week. Glad I’m not the only one.
I’d be happy to have Josie come speak to us either at our next meeting or another time. Whatever works best for them.
