Also, Lindsay, we can organise a panel discussion or a presentation/workshop with that group alone. I presented something at the Student Union Development Summit this past summer that was very well received and generated quite a bit of discussion. Let me know if you want to think about that and then we can chat. Maybe we can do something like that for Open Education Week at the end of March?

Our students at KPU have something going too. Sadly I didn’t take a picture of it (I know – if you don’t get a photo it never happened!). I’m reaching out to the organizer to see if he got a photo. Nothing works better than students engaging students!

It is that time of semester when we hopefully see more attention brought to the high cost of textbooks. UVIC made the papers -http://www.saanichnews.com/news/410166795.html#.WHZqlZmgDuo.twitter
 
And here at Douglas, the Douglas College Student Union set up a table set in our concourse area (see attached picture). I took the picture at the end of the day but during the day I noticed they had a lot of traffic around the table.
