Nice to see many of you at today's meeting 🙂 As I mentioned, Darcye has expressed interest in the Chair-Elect position. (Thanks, Darcye!) I welcome any other expressions of interest between now and our May 17th meeting (please email me off-list at ltripp@langara.ca.) If more than one person is interested, I can arrange a vote. If not, Darcye will be appointed by acclamation.

The Chair-Elect position is a two-year commitment (one year as Chair-Elect and one year as Chair). The term follows the academic year (September 1 to August 31). The Chair-Elect's primary duties are recording minutes and running meetings in the Chair's absence -- as Donna had to do today when I joined our call late (THANK YOU!) 😮
