It was great to see so many of you at the BCOEL lunch at the Cascadia Open Ed Summit last week! During our roundtable, I mentioned that my colleague Dan Slessor recently visualized Langara’s open textbook adoption data in Tableau. Here is a link if you’re curious to see what it looks like. It is based on the data we collect in collaboration with Lauri Aesoph at BCcampus.

 

Last month, Langara’s Communications & Marketing Department developed branding for our open ed committee, Open Langara. Dan worked the branding into the visualization. We’re hoping it will help communicate the impact of open textbooks, and open ed more broadly, to senior leadership and the wider Langara community.
