Hello CCCOER Community!
March 27-31, 2017 is Open Education Week! Open Education Week (OEW) is an awareness raising event meant to highlight the efforts of institutions and individuals who work to increase the missions of open education worldwide. In particular, we are interested in hearing about how people are increasing adoption of OER in the CCCOER community of practice.
CCCOER would like to host several short presentations on Tuesday and Wednesday March 28 and 29 showcasing the works of our network institutions and individuals. We are calling for proposals for short webinar presentations on one of the following two themes:
Just Get Started: first steps in OER adoption
Start to Finish: along the pathway to OER Degrees
Please note, the point of these short (15-30 minute) presentations is to showcase projects adopting openness in teaching and learning. We welcome presentations from whole institutions, individual faculty, or partnerships.
To submit your proposal, please visit this Google Form. We will be accepting proposals until mid-February.
Presenting at OEW is a great way to showcase your efforts in OER adoption, and it is a great way to reach an international audience celebrating open education in all of its forms.
Thank you for you interest!
Happy Holidays,
Quill
