Subject: [Bcoelsteering] Code of best practices in fair dealing/use in OER

Hi all,

I just attended a session for Fair Dealing Week with Dr. Carys Craig from Osgoode Hall Law School. She highlighted a resource that I thought might be of interest to this group: Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Open Educational Resources: A Guide for Authors, Adapters & Adopters of Openly Licensed Teaching and Learning Materials (February 17, 2021). Note that Appendix Three (p. 30~) is authored by Carys and focuses on educational fair dealing in Canada.

Many thanks,

Lindsay
