Dear colleagues, I am writing to let you know about a BCcampus expression of interest request regarding the development of open courses<https://bccampus.ca/grants-calls-for-proposals/expression-of-interest-development-of-open-courses/>. In summer 2020, BCcampus began creating a collection of open courses<https://collection.bccampus.ca/> to assist instructors and course developers in creating and updating their courses, particularly while transitioning from in-person teaching to online. The collection currently contains nine full courses that are openly licensed and ready for use. We are looking for B.C. applicants who have developed, adapted, or adopted an open textbook in our B.C. Open Textbook Collection<https://open.bccampus.ca/browse-our-collection/find-open-textbooks/> to develop a new open course, or adapt an existing open course, that accompanies the textbook. Up to $8000 is available per grant, depending on how much work is required. Deadline for submissions is September 20, 2021. Read the expression of interest for more information.
