Dear colleagues,

BCcampus is offering five scholarships of $200 each to five faculty or staff to participate in the Regional Leaders of Open Education (RLOE) Network. This amount would cover the entire cost of the program, which will be held online.

This scholarship opportunity provides the chance for faculty and staff at B.C. public post-secondary institutions to learn about how open educational resources and practices can help their students and to receive valuable mentorship from open education leaders on how to implement an institutional open education strategy.

The program requires a commitment of 12 synchronous hours and 12 asynchronous hours. The program will run for three cohorts, each of which will be in session during one of these date ranges:
The deadline to apply for the first cohort is Tuesday, September 10.

Eligible applicants for this scholarship include faculty and staff at B.C. public post-secondary institutions who have read the RLOE Network Invitation to Participate.

To apply for the scholarship, simply apply to the RLOE Network. Eligible B.C. applicants will be identified by OE Global (who runs the program) and referred to BCcampus. BCcampus will then get in touch with successful applicants to the program and cover their costs.

Any further questions about the program can be directed to Amanda Coolidge at acoolidge@bccampus.ca.

Best,

Arianna Cheveldave [Hear my name]
