Hi Amanda,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! It’s timely, as my research collaborator and I are in the midst of analyzing our data and thinking about publications for submission. My only hesitation with Library Trends is that It doesn’t appear to be open access. Just one of many considerations we’re mulling over…

Best,

Lindsay

Subject: Library Trends Call for Proposals: OER and the Academic Library special issue

We are excited to announce an issue of Library Trends scholarly journal devoted to the topic, "OER and the Academic Library," will be published in November 2020. Mary Ann Cullen of Georgia State, Christopher Shaffer of Troy University and I are editors for this issue.

We are currently accepting proposals for articles, as well as peer-reviewers with expertise on the topic of Open and Affordable Educational Resources, particularly as they apply to academic libraries. Abstracts are due May 1, 2019.

For more information on potential topics, the timeline, and publication information, see the Call for Proposals. Feel free to address any questions to me.

Thank you!
