New books
OER created by B.C. faculty
- This information service for soil types and soil sites across Canada. SOILx enables you to search spatially its database of soil sites and view detailed information on each one.
Clinical Anatomy
- Includes videos, interactive modules, illustrations, and interactive radiology.
Neuroanatomy
- Video tutorials, learning modules, interactive slices and other features, such as a Stroke Model, are part of this online OER.
- These case studies are available on a wide variety of subject areas such as Civil Engineer, Conservation, Digital Literacy, Forestry, Public Policy and Global Affairs.

New books
Key Concepts of Intermediate Level Math by Meizhong Wang, College of New Caledonia
- This textbook, a product of the BCcampus OER Grant program, is a concise and understandable guide on intermediate level mathematics. It can be used by Adult Basic Education programs at colleges, students in community colleges, and others. Each topic, concept, term, and phrase, in this book, is clearly defined followed by examples.
- This textbook--adapted from Business Communication for Success--offers a comprehensive, integrated approach to the study and application of written and oral business communication. This edition has significantly reduced the size and scope of the original publication, added Canadian examples, and features a spectrum of current and relevant Canadian business communication topics.
- This Canadian adaptation is based on Fundamentals of Business and includes Canadian content including examples and statistics. This introductory business textbook covers a variety of topics such as: The Foundations of Business, Economics and Business, Ethics and Social Responsibility, Business in a Global Environment, and more.
Human Nutrition from
the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Food Science and Human Nutrition Program - This open textbook was developed as a resource that reflects the diverse dietary patterns of people in Hawai‘’i and the greater Pacific. It serves as an introduction to nutrition for undergraduate students and covers basic concepts in human nutrition, key information about essential nutrients, basic nutritional assessment, and nutrition across the lifespan.
- This third edition is an update of this popular book, based on International Financial Reporting Standards. The textbook is accompanied by many ancillary resources including a student solutions manual and workbook. This new version replaces the second edition, which will be archived on October 1, 2018.
