Hi Everyone,

Back in May we added the below new items to our open textbook collection. In case I haven't let you know yet, here it is again.

Books

Introduction to Logic and Critical Thinking
This new book provides introductory content on logic and critical thinking. The goal of the textbook is to provide the reader with a set of tools and skills that will enable them to identify and evaluate arguments.

Global Women's Issues" Women in the World Today, extended version
Previously "Women in the World Today" in the B.C. Open Textbook Collection, this book has been extended with funds provided, in part from the BCcampus Ancillary Materialw Development Grant. University of Victoria's  Dr. Janni Aragon and Dr. Mariel Miller have added to each chapter: a chapter summary, key words, multiple choice questions, discussion questions, essay questions, and a list of additional resources. The book has also been added to Pressbooks and editable files are now available.

Ancillary Resource

Information about a new testbank is now posted by the Introduction to Sociology - 2nd Canadian Edition open textbook. This testbank is available to faculty, who must contact the BCcampus Helpdesk for access (helpdesk@bccampus.ca). The testbank was created by Victoria Mowat, a faculty member at the University of Saskatchewan.
