Hi BCOEL!
I am wondering if any of you would be interested in participating in a webinar (hosted by
BCcampus) to discuss the background, implications, ruling of the following Access
Copyright vs. York case. For background: York University opted out of the Access Copyright
agreement a few years ago and decided to try to police it on their own within their
university and push the new fair use clause of the Canadian Copyright act. Access
Copyright sued them and appears they have won the case.

Let me know if you are interested and available and we can set something up for next week
or the week after.
I think this important for us to talk about to our community.
Thanks
Amanda
