Thanks for being in touch! Yes, we’ve been discussing a joint OA Week event, but planning
has been progressing slowly due to summer vacations. The two broad themes we’ve pitched
and are deciding between focus on the U of California/Elsevier standoff and decolonizing
open (building off the blog post by Adam, Bali, Hodgkinson-Williams, and Morgan). Hope is
checking to see if we can use SFU Vancouver as a venue again this year, due to proximity
to public transit. More to come very soon!
