Subject: BCcampus: BC Open Textbook Collection - MARC records
Hi Linda and Sunni,
As you might know, a couple of months ago BCcampus retired its biweekly open education email updates which we'd agreed would be the means by which I inform you about new books. New open textbook additions to the BC Open Textbook Collection<https://open.bccampus.ca/browse-our-collection/find-open-textbooks/> will continue to be listed in the now weekly BCcampus newsletter. However, to ensure that you receive this information without having to hunt through our newsletter, I will email you directly when new books are added to the collection.
New textbooks (added Dec 2019)
Introduction to Philosophy: Philosophy of Mind<https://open.bccampus.ca/browse-our-collection/find-open-textbooks/?uuid=d4…>
Intermediate Algebra and Trigonometry<https://open.bccampus.ca/browse-our-collection/find-open-textbooks/?uuid=76…>
Regards,
Lauri

Hi Everyone,
I have an external academic council member who has expressed interest in learning more about Open Pedagogy and OERs (YAY!!). He has asked me for books and sites to learn more and while I have tons, I'm fighting the impulse to deluge him with information.
I'm curious, is there a book, article or website constitutes as good place to start exploring Open? If not, what would the rest of you recommend to start him at?
Thanks,
Ali
