In 2019, six KPU instructors participated in an Open Pedagogy Fellowship that focused on the design of “renewable” course assignments that have a larger audience, life, and impact than traditional assignments. Each of these assignments involved students developing resources that support progress towards specific sustainable development goals<https://sustainabledevelopment.un.org/>. This fellowship program was developed in partnership with Montgomery College (Maryland, USA), whose faculty partnered with KPU faculty in designing these assignments.
