I'm reaching out to share an updated resource that might be useful for your OER authors: an AI Declaration Statement template for Pressbooks.

For those already familiar with KPU's Pressbooks template: We've significantly revised the AI Declaration page to better reflect OER creation workflows. The previous version was adapted from a research-focused framework, so we've now adapted it specifically for educational resource development—including categories like assessment design, media creation, accessibility features, and instructional design.

For those new to this resource: This template provides a structured, transparent way for authors to document how they used AI tools during OER creation. It's based on Kari D. Weaver's Artificial Intelligence Disclosure (AID) Framework and includes guidance, examples, and clear prompts to make disclosure straightforward and consistent.

Supporting materials we've developed:

• OER-specific AID Framework guide [DOCX] (with descriptions and examples for each category)
• AI Use Self-Assessment Rubric [DOCX] (helps authors determine appropriate disclosure levels)
