The focus in the last few years has shifted from award winners to all nominees whose work we share and promote. Sure, its great to get an award, and we welcome self-nominations, but it's also a community strengthener to spread some recognition, for efforts big or small, to others.

We continue our "gardening" theme this year following that everything starts small, from a seed, and in the OEAwards program of recognition, that seed is a nomination. I hope that many on this list will be interested in planting one (more more!) seeds.
