I recently received a notice from Ebsco about a new (?) service--Faculty Select--an interface to access open textbooks.  Perhaps this is related?

I wonder if the collection in EBSCO�s holdings management index just needs to be updated with the new and/or alternate title. The BC Open Textbook Collection has 273 titles. The record for OER discipline guide has a URL of https://open.bccampus.ca/find-open-textbooks/?uuid=64a1891e-b85d-40f2-9043-cbfe9eccd44f&contributor=&keyword=&subject=. I am not seeing a record for OER by Discipline Directory.

We recently change the name and cover for this resource (on May 13/19) from OER by Discipline Guide to OER by Discipline Directory. Perhaps this is the reason for the two numbers.

I have no idea what the Faculty Portal IR is either, but the record is for the OER by Discipline Guide in our EDS:

 

 

Searching either accession number yields the same record above, and the accession number indicated in the record is edsbcc.bcotA000246. I would guess the �correct article� is the above record. Unfortunately, two people who deal with our systems and databases are on vacation this week, but a third may be able to shed more light on the question later today if no one else weighs in.

I�ve never heard of a Faculty Portal IR with ebsco. I�ve tried to find something online and am coming up with zero.
